The Best Innovation Award 2026 is one of the highlights of Architect '69, providing a platform for exhibitors to showcase innovative construction products making their debut at the event. This reflects the potential of Thai entrepreneurs in developing new technologies, materials, and solutions to meet the needs of functionality, design, and sustainability.

This year, participants from various brands presented outstanding innovations, including RCI with the world’s first soft and warm porcelain tile surface under the concept of Wellness Living, GREENLAM with The Sculptural Layering design that elevates HPL to an architectural dimension, INSEE LBM showcasing a cement adhesive that can recycle waste materials from construction sites to reduce waste and carbon footprint, and JORAKAY developing interior paint that integrates nanotechnology to inhibit bacteria and reduce harmful substances in the air, enhancing indoor quality of life.

On the construction and decoration materials side, CHANG CONSUMER presented LAVAMIC, a recycled material made from ceramic scraps, which can be freely shaped according to design, CYBER LOCK with Digital Furniture Fingers Lock, an intelligent locking system that integrates digital technology with furniture for seamless use, SIAMTAK in collaboration with IM Innovative Materials developed materials under the concept Rise from the Earth to create new value from materials, and S-ONE with a door system made from 100% recycled aluminum, the U8 Sustainable Aluminium Entrance System.

In terms of construction and decorative materials, TOA introduced Shark All-in-One Plaster, a versatile plaster that can be applied to all walls, TOSTEM with an aluminum door and partition system reflecting the concept of Minimal Precision Design, VG with the CUBE vinyl gutter system addressing rainwater impact comprehensively, WATSADU NIYOM with 3D Panel by Recoplast, a decorative wall panel system that transforms waste materials into art, WDC with Gravity porcelain tiles that elevate the standard for outdoor flooring and public spaces, DOS with the space-saving WIDERO ALL IN ONE water storage tank, INTO SPEC with SPC doors for high durability areas, and finally CHAMPACA with an innovation that combines flexible real wood veneer sheets suitable for contemporary design.

This year's awards were judged by a panel of esteemed experts in architecture and design, including Jiravej Hongsakul from IDIN Architects, Ratchawut Janthasirikul from A49, and Ativich Kulwongmeth from ativich/studio, all of whom are leading architects with national and international projects, reflecting a rigorous and credible selection standard.
The Best Innovation Award serves as an important platform for promoting Thai innovations to an international level, within the context of Architect, the largest exhibition of architectural technology and construction products in ASEAN, providing brands with the opportunity to reach designers, project developers, and buyers in the construction industry widely.
